Terms
Terms of use
Version 1.0. Last updated 8 October 2026.
These terms are the agreement between you and us for using the ArcForm app. Please read them with our Privacy policy and our Safety page, which are on this website and in the app under Settings.
The short version
- ArcForm is strength and mobility coaching. It is guidance, not medical advice.
- Arc, the coach in the app, is an AI. It can be wrong.
- You must be 18 or over.
- If something feels wrong, stop. If it is serious, get it checked by someone who can examine it.
- You pay through Apple. You cancel and ask for refunds through Apple.
- If you live in the United States, disputes are settled by individual arbitration, not in court and not as a class action. You can opt out within 30 days. See section 11.
- Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you.
1. Who we are
ArcForm is provided by GETARCFORM LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17505698. Our registered office is 5th Floor, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF.
You can reach us at support@getarcform.com.
In these terms "we" and "us" mean GETARCFORM LTD. "ArcForm" means the ArcForm iPhone app and the service behind it. "Arc" means the AI coach inside the app.
You agree to these terms when you sign in to ArcForm.
2. What ArcForm is, and what it is not
What it is. ArcForm is a strength and mobility coaching app. It builds a training plan from what you tell it, built around anywhere that is sore. It uses your iPhone's camera to count your reps, time your holds and estimate how far and how fast you move. It changes your plan as you go, using fixed rules and your own ratings of how each session felt.
How it works. ArcForm is automated. Your plan, your reports and Arc's messages are produced by software, including artificial intelligence. No person reviews them before you see them.
What it is not.
- ArcForm is not medical advice, and it is not a diagnosis or a treatment for anything.
- ArcForm is not supervised by a doctor, a physiotherapist or any other health professional. Nobody at ArcForm watches your sessions or reads your answers as you give them.
- ArcForm is not a medical device.
- ArcForm is not an emergency service.
ArcForm will never tell you what is causing your pain. If you want to know that, see someone who can examine you. Do not put off getting help because of anything in the app.
3. Who can use ArcForm
- You must be 18 or over.
- You must use ArcForm for yourself only. Your plan is built from your answers and is not suitable for anyone else.
- Do not use ArcForm against the advice of a health professional. If a doctor, physiotherapist or other professional has told you not to exercise, or has told you something different from the app, follow them.
- If you are not sure exercise is safe for you, check with a doctor before you start. That includes if you are pregnant, have recently had surgery or a broken bone, or have a heart, lung or other health condition.
- You must give honest answers, including about pain. The plan can only allow for what it has been told.
4. Safety
Full details are on the Safety page in Settings. These are the rules you agree to follow.
Stop the exercise if:
- pain turns sharp, or keeps building as you go
- you feel faint, dizzy or unwell
- something gives way, pops or snaps
- you get numbness, tingling or pins and needles.
Some effort and some soreness are normal in training. Sharp pain is not. Tell the app about pain when it asks. Any pain you report stops an exercise getting harder, and higher scores make it easier.
The serious signs. In setup, ArcForm asks about six signs:
- a pop or snap
- it gives way
- big or fast swelling
- you can't put weight on it
- numbness or tingling, or it spreads down the limb
- dizziness with it.
If you have any of these and it has not been looked at, get it checked by someone who can examine it. For some of these signs ArcForm will only build your plan at its easiest level. For "can't put weight on it" and for numbness or spreading, ArcForm will not build a plan until you confirm that you have been seen and told it is fine to exercise.
In an emergency, call your emergency number. ArcForm cannot do this for you.
- United Kingdom: 999. For advice, NHS 111.
- United States: 911.
- Canada: 911. For advice, 811.
- Australia: 000. For advice, healthdirect 1800 022 222.
- New Zealand: 111. For advice, Healthline 0800 611 116.
Chest pain, trouble breathing, or a sudden severe injury are emergencies. Call straight away.
Your space. Exercise somewhere clear, with room to move and a stable place for your phone. You are responsible for your surroundings and for any kit you use.
5. Arc is an AI, and measurements are estimates
- Arc is an AI. Arc is not a person and not a health professional. Arc runs on Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic.
- Arc can be wrong. AI can misunderstand you, miss things, or say things that are not correct. Treat what Arc says as general coaching guidance. If it does not fit how you feel, trust how you feel.
- Arc does not decide what is wrong. Arc will not name a condition or tell you what is behind your pain.
- Camera numbers are estimates. Reps, range, tempo and timings are worked out from where the camera thinks your joints are. Lighting, clothing, camera angle and distance all affect them. They are a guide for training. They are not clinical measurements, and you should not rely on them for any medical purpose.
- The app can't see everything. ArcForm does not check your technique for safety and will not spot an injury.
6. Your account and your data
- You sign in with Sign in with Apple, or with an email address and a password. Keep your Apple account and your password secure, and do not share them.
- We keep a copy of your ArcForm data on our server under your account, so your plan can run and follow you to a new phone. Our Privacy policy explains what we keep and why.
- You can download your data or delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting your account removes your data from our server. It does not cancel your subscription (see section 7).
- Your answers, your results and your messages stay yours. You give us permission to use them to provide ArcForm to you. We only use them to improve ArcForm for everyone if you say yes to "Help ArcForm get better for everyone".
- If you send us feedback, we can use it to improve ArcForm without owing you anything.
7. Subscription, introductory offer and refunds
Plans and prices. ArcForm needs a subscription. New subscribers start with a one-month introductory offer, then the plan they chose. In the UK the prices are:
- £19.99 a month
- £39.99 every three months
- £99.99 a year.
In other countries the app shows the price in your currency before you buy. The price shown in the app when you buy is the one that applies.
Introductory offer. New subscribers pay £4.99 for the first month, charged when you start. Apple decides who qualifies, usually once per Apple account. When the first month ends, the plan you chose starts at the price above and Apple charges you, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the first month ends.
Payment. Apple takes payment through your Apple account. We never see your card details.
Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the same price, until you cancel. Apple charges you in the 24 hours before each renewal.
Cancelling. Cancel at least 24 hours before your introductory offer or period ends. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then ArcForm, then Cancel. You can also get there from ArcForm's Settings under Manage subscription. Deleting the app or deleting your ArcForm account does not cancel your subscription. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds. Apple sells you the subscription and handles all refunds. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot give refunds ourselves.
Your legal right to change your mind. In the UK, and in some other countries, the law gives you 14 days after buying to cancel and get your money back. Because Apple is the seller, you use that right through Apple, in your Apple account's Purchase History or at reportaproblem.apple.com. Any cooling-off, reminder or cancellation right the law where you live gives you still applies.
Price changes. If we change the price, Apple will tell you before it applies to you and, where the law requires it, ask you to agree first.
When a subscription ends. Some or all of ArcForm stops working until you subscribe again. Your account and your data stay until you delete them.
8. Our responsibility to you
What we promise. We will provide ArcForm with reasonable care and skill.
What is never limited. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence, wherever the law does not allow that liability to be excluded or limited. In the UK it never can be, under section 65 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- any other liability, or any right you have as a consumer, that the law where you live does not allow us to exclude or limit.
If you live in the UK. You have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They include that our service is provided with reasonable care and skill and that the digital content is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Nothing in these terms affects those rights. Citizens Advice can tell you more.
What we are responsible for. If we fail to keep to these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our failure. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you agreed to these terms.
What we are not responsible for, subject to "What is never limited" above:
- loss that was not foreseeable
- loss caused by something outside our reasonable control, such as your internet connection, Apple's services or an outage at a provider we rely on
- business losses. ArcForm is for personal use only
- loss that comes from using ArcForm against these terms, for example not following the safety rules in section 4, giving answers that were not true, or carrying on against the advice of a health professional.
If you live in Australia. Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, including that they are provided with due care and skill, are fit for the purpose you made known, and are supplied in a reasonable time. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those guarantees or the remedies that go with them.
If you live in New Zealand. You have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, including that services are carried out with reasonable care and skill and are fit for purpose, and under the Fair Trading Act 1986. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
If you live in Canada. The consumer protection law of your province or territory applies to you. Nothing in these terms takes away any right or remedy it gives you.
If you live in the United States. This paragraph applies to you only as far as the law of your state allows.
- You accept the risks of exercise. Physical exercise carries a risk of injury. You take part voluntarily, and you accept that risk.
- No warranties. ArcForm is provided "as is" and "as available". We give no warranties beyond what these terms say, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
- Limit on damages. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the larger of the amount you paid for ArcForm in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.
- Release. You release us from claims for injury or loss arising from your use of ArcForm, other than claims caused by our gross negligence, recklessness or deliberate wrongdoing.
- California. If you live in California, this release also covers claims you do not yet know about. You give up the protection of California Civil Code section 1542, which says: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party."
Some states do not allow some of these limits. Where your state does not allow one, it does not apply to you.
9. Fair use
Your licence. While you have access, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use ArcForm on Apple devices you own or control, as Apple's usage rules allow. The app, its exercises, instructions, 3D body, plans and other content belong to us or to those who license them to us.
Limits on Arc. Each message to Arc costs us money. There is a daily limit on messages to Arc, currently 30 a day, and a limit on how fast requests can be sent. When you reach a limit the app tells you.
You agree not to:
- use ArcForm for anyone other than yourself, or share your account
- use ArcForm if you are under 18
- try to get round the subscription or the limits
- copy, take apart or reverse engineer the app, except where the law says you may
- call our server other than through the app, or try to overload, probe or break it
- try to make Arc produce anything unlawful, harmful, or unrelated to your training
- copy our exercises, instructions, plans or other content to sell or publish
- use ArcForm in any way that breaks the law.
10. Changes and ending
Changes to ArcForm. We keep improving ArcForm, so features, exercises and the way Arc works will change. If a change would make the app materially worse for you, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms, for example when the law or the app changes. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before it applies, unless the law or a safety reason needs it sooner. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account before the change applies.
You can stop at any time. Cancel your subscription through Apple and delete your account in Settings.
We can suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to by law. We will tell you why, unless the law stops us. If we end your access when you have not broken these terms, or we stop offering ArcForm altogether, we will give you reasonable notice and you can ask Apple for a refund of any period you have paid for and not used.
Availability. We try to keep ArcForm running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Arc and plan building need an internet connection.
11. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
That choice does not take away any protection that the consumer law of the country where you live gives you and that cannot be removed by agreement.
You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also use your local courts. If you live outside the UK, you may also be able to bring a claim in the courts where you live. If you live in the United States, the part below applies in place of this paragraph.
If you live in the United States: arbitration
Please read this part carefully. It changes how disputes between you and us are settled. It applies only if you live in the United States.
- Talk to us first. If you have a dispute with us, email support@getarcform.com with "Dispute" in the subject, your name, the email address on your account, what happened and what you want. We will do the same if we have a dispute with you. We each give the other 30 days to settle it before going further.
- Arbitration, not court. If it is not settled in those 30 days, any dispute or claim between you and us about ArcForm or these terms is decided by binding arbitration, not in court. An arbitrator is an independent person who decides the dispute. There is no judge and no jury, and the arbitrator's decision is final, with very limited rights of appeal. You and we each give up the right to a trial by jury.
- One person at a time. You and we can bring claims against each other only as individuals, and not as a claimant or class member in any class, collective or representative action. The arbitrator cannot join more than one person's claims together and cannot give relief to anyone but you.
- How it runs. The American Arbitration Association (AAA) runs the arbitration under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, which are at adr.org. It can be done on documents, by phone or video, or in person in the county where you live. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this part.
- Fees. You pay no more than the AAA's filing fee for consumers. We pay the rest of the AAA's fees and the arbitrator's fees, as its consumer rules require. We will not ask you to pay our lawyers' fees unless the arbitrator finds your claim was frivolous.
- What stays out of arbitration. Either of us can take a claim to small claims court if it qualifies. Either of us can go to court to stop misuse of intellectual property.
- You can opt out. Email support@getarcform.com within 30 days of first agreeing to these terms, from the email address on your account, with "Arbitration opt-out" in the subject. If you opt out, this arbitration part does not apply to you and nothing else in these terms changes.
- If part of this cannot be enforced. If a court finds the "one person at a time" rule cannot be enforced for a claim, that claim goes to court and the rest stay in arbitration. Claims that go to court are heard in the state or federal courts where you live.
- Your statutory rights stay. The arbitrator can award you anything a court could award you as an individual. Nothing here stops you reporting a problem to a government agency.
If you live in California
Under California Civil Code section 1789.3 you are entitled to this notice. ArcForm is provided by GETARCFORM LTD, 5th Floor, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom. The charges for ArcForm are set out in section 7. To make a complaint about the service, or to ask for more information about using it, email support@getarcform.com. You can also contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
If a court finds part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. These terms are personal to you. We may transfer them to another company that takes over ArcForm, and we will tell you if that happens.
12. Apple
ArcForm is supplied through Apple's App Store. Apple requires these terms to say the following.
- Who the agreement is with. These terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for ArcForm and its content. If these terms give you less than the usage rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, or conflict with them, Apple's terms apply.
- Your licence. Your licence is a non-transferable licence to use ArcForm on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as allowed by the usage rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. ArcForm may also be accessed by other accounts linked to yours through Family Sharing or volume purchasing, where that is switched on. Each person must use their own ArcForm account.
- Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for any maintenance and support for ArcForm, as set out in these terms or required by law. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for ArcForm.
- Warranty. We are solely responsible for any warranties for ArcForm, whether given in these terms or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If ArcForm fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price you paid, if any. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for ArcForm. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising from a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claims by you or anyone else relating to ArcForm or your possession or use of it. That includes product liability claims, any claim that ArcForm fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar law.
- Intellectual property. If anyone claims that ArcForm, or your possession and use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo or that the US Government has designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Our name and address. Questions, complaints or claims about ArcForm should go to GETARCFORM LTD, 5th Floor, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF, support@getarcform.com.
- Third-party terms. You must keep to any third-party terms that apply when you use ArcForm, such as your mobile data agreement.
- Apple's rights. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept these terms, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
